During the program time for "Lost", JUNK aired on the 11:00 Channel 7 news! We hope being side by side w/ Lost wasn't some sort of commentary.....

Dude! I used to fish off a raft made out of 2 and 3 liter bottles and some capped PVC pipes!

I used pillow cases to contain the bottles.. You method with the bags will be much more durable.. though.. you could sew the pillow cases to make pontoons.

Anyway.. good luck.. Enjoy the journey!!

Say.. I know you're already out to sea.. but.. well.. I was wondering why you left the aluminum frame open.. that's a lot of volume of air you coulda captured there!

No Worries.. it floats nice and high.. I suppose if it gets too stormy, you can fill some bottles with water and be low and stable..

Man.. I must be sick.. I wish I was with ya!

This makes me want to make a smaller version of JUNK! and go sail around lake Lanier right here in Georgia. Oops... I forgot... We might need a few hundred heavy rain showers first. Just to get our lake back up to above the Mendoza Line. Seriously guys. You are awesome. I hope you guys make a difference in a few of the right peoples minds out there. Maybe someone with clout and a conscious will step up and make something happen. My family and I are strongly behind you all the way. Atlanta GA USA is behind you too. Sail on my brothers and very good luck on your fantastic voyage... Papa Chubbs
