Wow! You guys are CRAZY. I'm impressed, though. How did you get the pictures of your course that were in yesterday's post? I would like to be able to follow where you are.
Good luck. I hope you make it in one piece.
Just wanted to say safe travels and thank you for doing this.
Hi! Just wanted to let you know that my friend's friend heard about you guys on the news in New York City! Hooray! Take care, KT from TX
I think it is great what you are doing. I used to commercial fish for a while about 25 years ago and the garbage I saw floating in the Sargasso Sea in the Atlantic Ocean was starting to get bad.
I saw the ocean being fished out years ago.
And the garbage is much worse today, from what boaters are telling me who boat in the Atlantic Ocean also.
I hope this gets more attention in the news.
I heard you speak at Santa Monica College, and now I'm arguing with my classes not to use plastics. Keep up the good work.
I heard about your trip from a commentator on Zac Sunderland's blog.
While you guys have such a completely different situation; it's a fascinating way to raise awareness about the abuse of plastics. In fact, I hear so much about oil being used for fuel but so much of the production and process goes towards the production of different plastics. It's just that most consumers are completely unaware of the whole pipeline. In the end, the problem is the stuff we use only only once and toss.
Good luck and be safe!
